Call for Abstracts – 6th International Conference of TESOL & Education (ICTE 2026)

Warm greetings from the International Conference of TESOL & Education (ICTE)!

We would like to sincerely thank you for your valuable contributions to previous ICTE conferences. In ICTE 2025, we were delighted to receive abstract submissions from presenters representing 26 countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Philippines, Canada, Sri Lanka, Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong SAR, Ecuador, Italy, United Kingdom, Greece, India, Cambodia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Japan, Malaysia, Portugal, Thailand, Egypt, Indonesia, Argentina, Spain, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, China, and Vietnam. Your participation has significantly enriched the ICTE community and academic discussions in TESOL and education.

It is our great pleasure to invite you to submit an abstract to the 6th International Conference of TESOL & Education (ICTE 2026):

Theme: AI in Research, Teacher Development, and Professional Practice
Dates: 14–15 August 2026
Venue: Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City
Address: 12 Nguyen Van Bao, Hanh Thong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

ICTE 2026 will provide a dynamic forum to explore how Artificial Intelligence is transforming language education, research methodologies, teacher professional development, and classroom practice. We welcome abstract submissions that address, but are not limited to, the following areas:

  • AI in language education research and research methods
  • AI for teacher training, professional learning, and reflective practice
  • AI-enhanced curriculum design, assessment, and feedback
  • Classroom applications of AI tools for language learning
  • Ethical, pedagogical, and policy issues in AI integration
  • AI and professional practice in broader educational contexts
  • Language & Linguistics
  • Pedagogies & Language Teaching

Presenters at ICTE 2026 will have opportunities to have their papers considered for publication in a special issue of a Scopus Q1 journal or as book chapters published by Springer Nature (Scopus-indexed). In addition, other selected papers may be considered for publication in one of the following:

All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process, and only papers that meet the required academic standards will be accepted for publication.
